Looking for bathroom vanity lights? Welcome to VanityLightFixtures.org — your source for all of your bathroom lighting information and purchasing.
If you are building a new home or just planning a remodel or makeover, one area that deserves special focus is the bathroom. Guests and potential buyers pay special attention to bathrooms, and the vanity light fixtures will play a big part in making your bathroom really stand out in a positive way. One way to make this happen is by choosing the right type of light and the right fixtures so that the mood and ambiance you want is conveyed to your guests. There is an amazing variety of styles and finishes to fit anyone’s budget and home decor. You can choose the perfect lighting complement for your new home or remodeling project.
The type and amount of light that’s emitted and the style of the fixtures make choices in bathroom lighting extremely important. Vanity lighting is available in many colors and finishes, including popular metals such as copper and iron. There are styles to fit every conceivable bathroom lighting need. Some have a definite artistic element, while others are plain and simple and are designed more for function than flair. One nice thing about vanity lighting is that, generally speaking, for the do-it-yourselfer it is relatively simple to install.
One excellent choice in bathroom lighting is the oil-rubbed bronze finish. If you want a style that is sophisticated, with rich colors that add a distinguished look and feel to your bathroom, then you may want to check out the oil-rubbed bronze fixtures. There are many great bronze lighting fixtures to choose from. If sophisticated is not what you’re looking for, then you could choose something in a lighter color or warm earth tone to brighten up the room, give it a lighter feel, or perhaps more of a country atmosphere.
One of the more popular styles of bathroom lighting is the contemporary look. This includes an almost endless choice of modern, trend-setting fixtures that can work in almost any home. There are many avaunt-garde fixtures that will help you transform your room from one that is dull and predictable into a posh and beautiful personal retreat. Contemporary modern lighting truly can make an amazing difference.
Brushed brass vanity fixtures are a great choice if you are going for a little brighter accent in your bathroom. Brass can give your vanity area a much brighter appearance, which is due to the sharper, more noticeable luster or sheen that it gives off. Some homeowners love it for that reason. A bathroom with brushed brass tends to have an elegant, modern appearance. Brushed brass is similar to brushed bronze in that there are a myriad of styles that can work well in almost any vanity area arrangement or architectural scheme.
There are a few more critical elements to bear in mind. If you are doing a makeover on a large bathroom, small light fixtures are going to look out of place. Conversely, if you have a small vanity area, lights that are too large are going to be overwhelming. Track lighting sometimes works well for large bathrooms. There are many different styles to choose from, and you can vary the number of lights in the track to fit the room.
The placement of bathroom lighting is also extremely important. You want to make sure there is plenty of light and that no shadows are being cast when you are looking in the mirror. You want balanced, consistent illumination. If the mirror is used primarily for grooming or putting on makeup, then the lights will need to be positioned closer to the mirror. Also, consider using full spectrum light bulbs or the “natural light” bulbs. These will give you a brighter bathroom and will give you a much sharper view in the mirror.

More About Vanity Lighting
When purchasing vanity lighting, you may want to consider several different levels of light in your bathroom area. There is the sunlight coming in naturally through the windows, the vanity lighting which is typically above the mirror, ceiling recessed lights, hanging light fixtures that create a certain ambiance, and wall sconces for softer or more focused lighting. Several or all of these can be used to achieve your overall lighting objectives — the amount of light you need in the room, the layered effect you may want to achieve, eliminating any shadowy areas, and the overall feeling you want to convey.
During the planning process, try to keep an open mind to the many variations that might work well in your overall bathroom vanity lighting configuration. You may be pleasantly surprised at what you come up with after considering the many possibilities with vanity lights, wall sconces, hanging lights, recessed lights, and natural light already in the room. Proper planning and selection will save you money on lighting and you will still end up with a beautiful, well-lit room that you can be proud of.

Nice blog, just looking around some blogs, seems a pretty nice platform you are using. I’m currently using WordPress for a few of my sites but looking to change one of them over to a platform similar to yours as a trial run. Anything in particular you would recommend about it?
I went to install the 7613 Vanity Light fixture I got and found out I didn’t have the hardware parts for installation. I need the mounting strap, machine screws, hexnuts and capnuts. Anywhere I can get these from. thanks
Best way is to call the support number (or email them) that’s listed on the papers that came with the fixture. They will usually send it to you free of charge. An alternative is to contact them directly via their website. If you can’t find any contact info or you don’t want to wait to have the hardware sent to you, I would suggest Home Depot or Lowe’s. They have replacement hardware.
Thank you a bunch for sharing this with all of us you actually recognize what you are talking about! Bookmarked. Kindly also seek advice from my site =). We can have a hyperlink exchange agreement between us.
